Ka Ku Than Pagoda is the main shrine in Le Zin Village, a small, little known village in Monywa, Myanmar. Ka Ku Than pagoda was built in 1403 AD by Queen Shin Saw Pu of Ava (Inn Wa). Due to silting from the Bu Khar stream, the pagoda was slowly buried over centuries before being excavated 80 years ago. The Ka Ku Than pagoda has the oldest image of Buddha in early Ava style, in the Monywa region. The pagoda has been carefully repaired and restored and is stunning hidden treasure.
